Senior Conveyancer

• Manage the preparation and review of conveyancing documents, ensuring compliance with Australian property laws
• Act as the primary contact for non-resident clients, providing clear updates and advice throughout property transactions
• Coordinate with brokers, lenders, agents, and external parties to ensure smooth settlements
• Conduct title searches and manage the settlement process using platforms like PEXA
• Build and implement processes for an in-house conveyancing practice tailored to expats
• Recruit, train, and lead additional conveyancing staff to handle increased transaction volumes
• Oversee the daily operations of the conveyancing practice and drive continuous improvements
• Help scale the conveyancing unit to offer nationwide settlement services

• At least 3 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, with knowledge of Australian property law (NSW, VIC, QLD)
• Relevant qualifications in conveyancing (or ability to obtain them)
• Proficiency with PEXA and other conveyancing platforms
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters to clients
• Leadership or management experience is a plus
• Experience with non-resident clients or cross-border transactions is highly desirable
• Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and conveyancing software
• Background in Conveyancing is required
