Senior Tax Accountant

• Accurately gather and utilize tax-related information from clients for the preparation of tax returns
• Monitor industry trends and analyze tax regulations
• Research complex tax issues and devise appropriate solutions for clients
• Foster a dynamic, fast-paced environment while leading a team of tax professionals
• Build and maintain relationships with clients while promoting the firm's services
• Provide superior client service by assisting with business and tax planning
• Handle tax services and federal and state tax compliance needs for various clients including farms, businesses, and individuals
• Provide comprehensive review and analysis of complex tax returns
• Assist with additional tax compliance and obligations within the firm outside of the tax season
• Recognize tax issues for existing clients and assist with new business development

• minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tax Accountant or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with CaseWare
• Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx
• Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax
• Skilled in various Accounting Functions
• Experience in preparing and reviewing Annual Income Tax Provision
• Strong background in Auditing
• Compliance experience
• Knowledge of Entity Formation
• Experience in preparing Individual Tax Returns
