Job Description:

An innovative manufacturing company in San Marcos, CA is seeking a meticulous and results-oriented Staff Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working in the manufacturing industry. Job Responsibility:

Prepare and analyze journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
Assist in preparing financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Track, monitor, and analyze manufacturing costs and inventory accounts
Ensure all financial processes comply with GAAP and company policies
Assist the team with internal and external audit preparation by providing necessary documentation
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by compiling and analyzing financial data
Provide recommendations to optimize production costs and improve financial performance within the manufacturing framework

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2+ years of accounting experience within the manufacturing industry preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
