Jobbeschreibung:

The 2-year apprenticeship as an industrial electrician (m/f/d) for the DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at the Königsborn site. The vocational school is located in Leipzig in the Eutritzsch district. During the apprenticeship, you will also visit our training workshop, which is also located in Leipzig in the immediate vicinity of the main train station.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Work primarily in the area of electrical energy systems of our railway infrastructure
Become an expert in the installation and assembly of electrical systems, e.g., lighting systems and switch heaters
Work both outdoors in the track network and in our workshops
Learn basics such as the relationship between voltage and current as well as electrical quantities and equipment
Install and wire switching, control, and measuring devices and perform cable tests

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of school with a recognized German school-leaving certificate
German language skills at least at B2 level
Good knowledge of mathematics and physics
Willingness to work at different locations and times, including night shifts
Manual dexterity and enjoyment of tinkering in free time
Enjoyment of working outdoors and in a team
