Jobbeschreibung:

3-year apprenticeship as a train traffic controller (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG in Salzwedel. The vocational school is located in Schkeuditz (near Leipzig). You will work in a control center (called 'signal box') where you will monitor and influence train movements via screens, buttons, and levers. You will be in constant contact with train drivers and other team members to ensure safe and punctual train travel.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Coordinate train movements
Monitor trains via screens or boards
Operate signals (train traffic lights) and switches
Maintain contact with train drivers and other team members
Ensure safe and punctual train travel for passengers

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of school with a recognized German school-leaving certificate
Ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in demanding situations
Willingness to take responsibility and work with concentration
Teamwork and reliability
Willingness to work in shifts
