Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves maintaining control and safety technology systems in a regional area, ensuring safe and efficient rail traffic, and leading a team of employees. The role requires a mix of office and fieldwork, with responsibilities including technical and disciplinary leadership, cost and personnel planning, and emergency management.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

responsible for maintenance in the area of control and safety technology in the regional care area
ensures safe, punctual, and economical rail traffic
trained as a specialist for the railway system
carries out maintenance of control and safety systems, evaluates and documents results, initiates follow-up measures
commissions necessary repairs and provides technical guidance to employees performing maintenance
takes over technical and disciplinary leadership of assigned district employees
participates in cost and personnel planning
responsible for occupational health and safety management
ensures compliance with all regulations
50% office work, 50% fieldwork
acts as an emergency manager when needed

Anforderungen:

successfully completed degree in electrical engineering/communication technology or comparable qualification/field of study
ideally possesses the functional training for district manager or is willing to acquire it during qualification
strong sense of responsibility, assertiveness, resilience, initiative, and motivation to take on leadership responsibilities
proficient in common IT applications
possesses a Class B driver's license and medical fitness
confident in dealing with others, able to present compelling arguments and convince others of ideas
