3.5-year vocational training program to become an electronics technician for operational technology at DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH in Königsborn. The vocational school is located in Magdeburg, and the training workshop is in Königsborn. Housing options are available in Magdeburg for those living further away.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

operate unique machinery such as conversion trains, ballast cleaning machines, rail milling machines
work outdoors on machines used on construction sites
knowledge of measurement, testing, and diagnostic procedures and their expert documentation
familiarize with installation, monitoring, maintenance, and repair of various systems
ensure technical machines are ready for use on construction sites
analyze and troubleshoot malfunctions

Anforderungen:

in Germany recognized school diploma
interest in math and physics
willingness to work at different locations and times, including night shifts
manual dexterity and enjoyment of tinkering
ability to work outdoors, on machines, and in a team
conscientious and independent work style
