The DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH is working on fiber optic expansion to enable the digitization of Deutsche Bahn. The company is building a nationwide broadband network, laying fiber optic cables as the foundation for a connected Germany. The job involves working in cable and concrete civil engineering, focusing on railway construction and collaborating with other trades.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Cable civil engineering and concrete construction in the railway construction sector
performing various construction and secondary construction activities like excavation, foundation, orientation, and laying work
collaboration with other trades such as rail and overhead construction to ensure an economic, timely, and quality-oriented construction process
installation of shaft and empty pipe systems for subsequent insertion and pulling of cables
operating and handling civil engineering machinery and equipment.

Anforderungen:

Successfully completed vocational training as a skilled worker in construction (e.g., cable civil engineering, concrete construction, construction equipment operator, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, civil engineer, bricklayer)
alternatively, several years of relevant professional experience
team player, responsible, and reliable
pragmatic solutions combined with quality awareness
enjoyment of outdoor work
willingness to work nationwide on-site after comprehensive onboarding
willingness to develop further and acquire missing qualifications.
