To realize and sustainably maintain new bridges, tunnels, train stations, tracks and signaling systems, more than 10,000 engineers are currently working for us - far from enough. As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage or supervise something that remains: the infrastructure for future generations.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

conducting plan and acceptance tests on complex LST systems independently
preparing technical statements and reports
assessing technically demanding solutions covering the entire range of technologies to ensure railway operations while considering economic aspects
leading a team of partial acceptance testers and test assistants and being responsible for their performance results
supporting the certification/recognition of new LST specialists and participating in relevant examination committees
developing concepts and strategies for modernization and preparation of future network expansion and conversion while considering economic efficiency
actively participating in regional and central special projects

Anforderungen:

successfully completed university degree, ideally in electrical engineering or communication technology / automation technology / telecommunications / mechatronics or a comparable field with sufficient electrical engineering content
recognition as a testing expert by the Federal Railway Authority in the area of signaling and control technology
ideally recognition as a planning inspector and knowledge in the areas of telecommunications and electrical engineering
ideally several years of professional experience in planning and/or acceptance in the field of signaling and control technology
flexibility and willingness to occasionally work on weekends, holidays or nights on the construction site
proficient in MS Office and willingness to familiarize oneself with SAP and the internal network documentation system
persuasiveness, assertiveness and confident appearance
valid class B driver's license

Wünschenswert:

recognition as a planning inspector
knowledge in the areas of telecommunications and electrical engineering
several years of professional experience in planning and/or acceptance in the field of signaling and control technology
