As a survey engineer, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of basic, design and engineering surveys with a focus on railway surveying. You will drive the evaluations forward to the point of audit-ready documentation. You will be responsible for the development of measurement concepts for geodetic monitoring. The recording and creation of existing documents such as site plans, cross and longitudinal profiles and digital terrain models are also part of your tasks. You have an interest in working with innovative surveying techniques such as 3D laser scanning and linking them in a Building Information Modelling (BIM) system. Depending on your professional experience, you will take over project management and be responsible for your projects economically, in terms of time and quality.

• establishment of fixed point fields and calculation of adjustments
• development of measurement concepts for geodetic monitoring
• creation of existing documents such as site plans, cross and longitudinal profiles and digital terrain models
• interest in working with innovative surveying techniques such as 3D laser scanning and linking them in a Building Information Modelling (BIM) system
• depending on professional experience, taking over project management and being responsible for projects economically, in terms of time and quality

• successfully completed university degree as a survey engineer, engineer of geodesy and geoinformatics or comparable field
• ideally first professional or practical experience in railway, 3D surveying and geomonitoring
• curiosity and interest in new technologies, methods and techniques
• proficient handling of different geodetic coordinate systems, common specialist software and surveying instruments
• good knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
• desirable knowledge in the application of Autodesk family products and 3D laser scanning
• willingness for (multi-day) business trips
