The DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH is looking for a (Senior) Engineer Geotechnics (m/f/d) for the locations Hamburg or Hannover. The tasks include project management, geotechnical consulting, and the creation of digital 3D subsoil models. The profile requires a degree in civil engineering with a focus on geotechnics, several years of professional experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

project management from the offer phase to final billing
development of object-specific exploration programs, specification of soil samples and determination of relevant laboratory tests
professional supervision of exploration work, documentation and organizational contribution to the successful execution of exploration programs
derivation of abstract subsoil models with assignment of characteristic soil parameters
program-supported execution of earth-static calculations and further geotechnical calculations, e.g. with the FEM method
preparation of geotechnical reports and technical statements for complex issues in the infrastructure sector, e.g. for the upgrading of existing railway lines as well as shallow and deep foundations of buildings
geotechnical consulting of planners and customers and development of railway-specific solutions even in difficult subsoil conditions
creation of digital 3D subsoil models as part of project processing using the BIM method

Anforderungen:

successfully completed university degree in civil engineering with a focus on geotechnics, geosciences, geology or a comparable field
several years of professional experience in the field of geotechnics and in project management, ideally with a railway-specific reference
customer-oriented thinking and convincing, secure appearance
very well organized and independent, goal-oriented and flexible way of working
enjoys working in a team
proficient with industry-standard software applications such as MS Office and GGU software
experience with Leapfrog Works and PLAXIS 2D/3D
possession of a valid class B driver's license
