As an engineer at Deutsche Bahn, you can plan, manage or supervise something that remains: the infrastructure for future generations.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

conducting all operational measures for safe, punctual and economical operation
disciplinary management of employees in your network district and continuously promoting their individual development
consistent adherence to all applicable processes and guidelines
planning personnel deployment on the operating sites as well as the economical annual deployment and vacation planning
maintaining contact with public rescue services and organizing operational emergency management in your district
participating in emergency management in the event of special events on the track

Anforderungen:

successfully completed technical or university degree in the field of railway engineering e.g. Bachelor of Engineering in the field of operations, industrial engineer in the field of railway engineering, traffic technician in railway operations
alternatively completed training as a train traffic controller with several years of professional experience on operating sites with complex infrastructure
ideally already have training as an emergency manager or are willing to acquire missing qualifications and participate regularly in on-call duty for emergency management
leadership and social skills as well as customer, result and goal orientation
willingness to take responsibility as well as communication, conflict and assertiveness skills
valid class B driving license
