Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves leading a railway operations district, ensuring safety and efficiency, managing personnel, and participating in emergency management. The role requires a technical or university degree in railway engineering or equivalent experience, leadership skills, and a valid driver's license.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

ensuring all measures for safe, punctual, and economical operations
disciplinary leadership of employees in the network district
adherence to all applicable processes and guidelines
planning of personnel deployment on operating sites
annual and vacation planning
participation in emergency management
maintaining contact with public emergency services
organizing operational emergency management in the district

Anforderungen:

successfully completed technical/university degree in the field of railway engineering (e.g., Bachelor of Engineering in Operations, Industrial Engineer in Railway Engineering, Traffic Technician in Railway Operations) or certified specialist in railway operations
alternatively, completed training as a train traffic controller with several years of professional experience on operating sites with complex infrastructure
ideally, already trained as an emergency manager or willing to acquire missing qualifications
leadership and social skills
customer, result, and goal orientation
sense of responsibility
communication, conflict, and assertiveness skills
valid Class B driver's license
