Jobbeschreibung:

3-year vocational training to become a Lokrangierführer:in (Eisenbahner:in im Betriebsdienst Lokführer:in und Transport) for DB Cargo AG at the Freilassing location. The vocational school is located in Munich.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Driving a diesel locomotive to nearby customers to pick up goods
Shunting freight wagons onto the corresponding directional tracks
Assembling trains by coupling and uncoupling individual wagons
Learning the rules for safe railway operations and the vehicle inside out
Checking the functionality of freight trains and securing loads
Starting and ending the workday at the regional marshalling yard

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of school with a recognized German school diploma
Enjoy working outdoors and enthusiasm for technology
Ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in challenging situations
Willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
Reliability and resilience
Willingness to work in shifts, on weekends, and holidays
