3-year vocational training to become a Lokrangierführer:in (Eisenbahner:in im Betriebsdienst Lokführer:in und Transport) for DB Cargo AG in Frankfurt (Main). The vocational school is located in Fulda.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

drive diesel locomotives to nearby customers
shunting freight wagons onto corresponding directional tracks
assemble trains by coupling and uncoupling individual wagons
learn the rules for safe railway operations and the vehicle inside out
check the functionality of freight trains and secure loads
start and end the workday at the regional marshalling yard

Anforderungen:

in Germany recognized school diploma
at least 16 years old
enjoy working outdoors
enthusiasm for technology
ability to remain calm in challenging situations
willingness to take responsibility
reliability
resilience
willingness to work in shifts, on weekends, and holidays
travel readiness
