3-year apprenticeship as a Lokrangierführer:in (Eisenbahner:in im Betriebsdienst Lokführer:in und Transport) for DB Cargo AG in Osnabrück. Vocational school located in Bremen.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

operate diesel locomotives to pick up goods from nearby customers
shunt freight wagons onto the appropriate tracks
assemble trains by coupling and uncoupling wagons
learn and apply railway safety rules and vehicle knowledge
check the functionality of freight trains and secure loads
start and end workday at the regional marshalling yard

Anforderungen:

in Germany recognized school diploma
enjoy working outdoors
enthusiasm for technology
ability to remain calm in challenging situations
willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
reliability and resilience
willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
