Jobbeschreibung:

3-year apprenticeship as a shunting locomotive driver (railway worker in operational service as a locomotive driver and transport) for DB Cargo AG at the Stadtallendorf location. Vocational school is located in Fulda.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

drive diesel locomotives to nearby customers
shunt freight wagons onto corresponding tracks
assemble trains by coupling and uncoupling wagons
learn rules for safe railway operations and vehicle handling
check functionality of freight trains and secure loads
start and end workday at regional marshalling yard

Anforderungen:

in Germany recognized school diploma
at least 16 years old
enjoy working outdoors
enthusiasm for technology
ability to remain calm in challenging situations
willingness to take responsibility and make decisions
reliability and resilience
willingness to work in shifts, on weekends, and holidays
travel readiness
