Jobbeschreibung:

3-year apprenticeship as a shunting locomotive driver (railway worker in operational service as a locomotive driver and transport) for DB Cargo AG in Hagen. The vocational school is also located in Hagen.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Driving a diesel locomotive to nearby customers to pick up goods
shunting freight cars onto the corresponding tracks
assembling trains by coupling and uncoupling individual wagons
learning the rules for safe railway operations and the vehicle inside out
checking the functionality of freight trains and securing loads
starting and ending the workday at the regional marshalling yard
