Jobbeschreibung:

3-year training program to become a Lokrangierführer:in (railway worker in operational service as a locomotive driver and transport) for DB Cargo AG in Offenburg. The vocational school is Albert-Einstein-Schule in Ettlingen.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Driving a diesel locomotive to nearby customers to pick up goods
Shunting freight cars onto the corresponding tracks
Assembling trains by coupling and uncoupling individual cars
Learning the rules for safe railway operations and the vehicle inside out
Checking the functionality of freight trains and securing loads
Starting and ending the workday at the regional marshalling yard

Anforderungen:

School completion with a recognized German diploma
Minimum age of 18 at the start of training
Enjoy working outdoors
Interest in technology and railway operations
Reliability, resilience, and sense of responsibility
Willingness to work in shifts, on weekends, and holidays
