Jobbeschreibung:

3-year apprenticeship as a Lokrangierführer:in (Eisenbahner:in im Betriebsdienst Lokführer:in und Transport) for DB Cargo AG in Bebra, with vocational school in Fulda.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Driving diesel locomotives to nearby customers to pick up goods
shunting freight wagons onto the correct tracks
assembling trains by coupling and uncoupling wagons
learning the rules for safe railway operations and vehicle knowledge
checking the functionality of freight trains and securing loads
starting and ending the workday at the regional marshalling yard

Anforderungen:

Successful completion of school with a recognized German school-leaving certificate
minimum age of 16 years
enthusiasm for working outdoors and technology
ability to remain calm and make decisions in challenging situations
reliability and resilience
willingness to work in shifts, on weekends, and holidays
travel readiness
