Jobbeschreibung:

As a maintenance technician, you are responsible for ensuring that our trains leave the workshop safely and on time.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

maintenance, repair, and restoration of trains in the mechanical area according to applicable regulations
performing gas shielded welding and flame cutting work after completed training courses
specialist for mechanics or mechatronics in trains, finding independent solutions for faults
conducting vehicle inspections in the running gear area and replacing major components such as wheel sets, brakes, and dampers
independently processing orders while considering economic, operational, and occupational safety requirements
documenting performed activities and work results
contributing ideas to the work area and thus to the development of new repair solutions and quality improvement

Anforderungen:

successfully completed vocational training, e.g., as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, locksmith, or in a metalworking trade
independent, reliable, proactive, and team-oriented work approach
willingness to participate in training
proficient in modern communication and using tablets and apps
good knowledge of German in spoken and written form
willingness to work irregular shift and alternating shifts
