Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves working as a mechatronics technician / automotive mechatronics technician / automotive mechanic as a signal mechanic (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Warburg location. Starting as a skilled worker in the field of signaling and safety technology, the candidate will go through several development steps to reach the target position of signal mechanic.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

inspection, maintenance, and repair of various systems in the field of signaling and safety technology
focus on electronic components such as signals, switches, and interlockings, but also learning about mechanical components
performing tasks in the regional area mostly in a team, independently and reliably
supervising electrical indoor and outdoor systems, primarily working outdoors
troubleshooting track systems and creating and forwarding fault reports
starting and ending work at the central base, collecting necessary materials, modern devices, measuring instruments, and the vehicle

Anforderungen:

successfully completed training in electrical engineering, e.g., as a mechatronics technician, automotive mechatronics technician, automotive mechanic, electrical specialist, electrician, electronics technician for industrial engineering or automation technology
readiness to participate in rotating on-call duty after comprehensive training
willingness to work outdoors
necessary commitment and extensive willingness to learn to complete internal qualification
reliability, teamwork, and flexibility
