As an ultrasonic tester, you will take over the order responsibility for the assigned inspection orders, carry out inspection, maintenance and repair work as well as troubleshooting measures independently, and participate in troubleshooting to restore operational safety. You will also ensure the timely application for the construction and operating instructions and create computer-aided minutes in SAP R/3 network. Additionally, you will guide apprentices and ensure a sound practical training of junior staff.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

take over the order responsibility for the assigned inspection orders
carry out inspection, maintenance and repair work as well as troubleshooting measures independently
participate in troubleshooting to restore operational safety
observe the economic principles according to the rules of technology, the rules applicable to DB Netz AG and the framework conditions of maintenance management with operational requirements
submit performance data or order effort data for recording in eTime and for services for third parties
ensure the timely application for the construction and operating instructions and create computer-aided minutes in SAP R/3 network
guide apprentices and ensure a sound practical training of junior staff

Anforderungen:

successfully completed apprenticeship as a master in track construction or can demonstrate training as a track mechanic/works master with relevant professional experience
ideally trained as an ultrasonic tester
high level of responsibility, initiative, and independent and structured way of working
experience in the safe handling of MS Office and SAP R/3 network
willingness to acquire further necessary qualifications
possession of a Class B driver's license
