Jobbeschreibung:

The DB InfraGO AG is looking for a project engineer in structural engineering (m/f/d) for the location in Karlsruhe. The role involves monitoring project deadlines and quality, assessing risks, contributing to the transition to BIM, assisting in structuring tenders, and supervising construction contracts. The candidate should have a degree in civil or industrial engineering, experience in structural engineering, and knowledge of relevant laws and IT applications.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

monitoring deadlines and project quality
assessing risks
contributing to the transition of design planning to the new BIM method
assisting in structuring tenders and preparing calls for bids
collaborating on creating a structured cross-sectional construction schedule for upcoming construction measures
submitting applications for construction permits on time to ensure construction proceeds according to schedule
supervising construction and/or planning contracts in the field of structural engineering and contacting necessary stakeholders
ensuring project success with good opportunity and risk management
performing data maintenance of project management systems

Anforderungen:

successfully completed university degree in civil engineering or industrial engineering or comparable
experience in planning and/or construction in structural engineering, preferably in infrastructure projects
strong technical understanding and initial experience in construction processes, organization, and construction operations
initial knowledge of contract and construction law and confidence in dealing with engineering firms and authorities
knowledge of the application of HOAI, VOB, and VOL and the guidelines of structural engineering
familiarity with workplace-related IT applications such as MS Project, MS Office
experience in various planning methods, such as BIM application
good communication and assertiveness skills to successfully implement interests and project goals with all project participants
analytical and conceptual thinking skills
