You will go through a tailored internal further training that supports you on the way to becoming a signal mechanic. During this time, you will develop your competencies and learn extensive knowledge for your new role. After a comprehensive induction, you will be ready to participate in the rolling on-call duty (deployment every 4-5 weeks). Your work begins and ends daily at your central base at Stuttgart Central Station.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

maintenance of various systems in the field of control and safety technology
inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical components, e.g., signals, switches, level crossings
recording and evaluating the condition of systems using modern measuring devices
technical documentation
carrying out tasks in the regional area mostly in a team, independently and reliably

Anforderungen:

successfully completed training in electrical engineering, e.g., as an electrician, mechatronics technician, electrical specialist in industry, electronics technician for operational technology or automation technology
willingness to participate in rolling on-call duty (deployment every 4-5 weeks)
ability to work outdoors
reliable, team-oriented, and flexible
valid class B driver's license is an advantage
