The position involves a tailored internal training program to qualify as a signal mechanic. The role includes maintenance of signaling and safety systems, inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of components, and working both independently and in a team. The job starts with a qualification phase and offers long-term development opportunities.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

maintenance of various systems in the field of signaling and safety technology
inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical components (e.g., signals, switches, level crossings)
use of modern measuring devices to assess system status
technical documentation
teamwork and independent work in the regional area

Anforderungen:

successfully completed training in electrical engineering (e.g., electrician, mechatronics technician, electrical specialist in industry, electronics technician for operational or automation technology)
willingness to participate in rotating on-call duty (every 4-5 weeks)
ability to work outdoors
reliability
teamwork
flexibility
valid Class B driver's license is an advantage
