As part of DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH, the position focuses on cable civil engineering responsibilities including constructing rail crossings, laying cables, and operating machinery, while collaborating with other trades to ensure quality-driven project outcomes.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

Cable civil and concrete construction in the rail infrastructure sector
constructing rail crossings, excavation work, foundation work, discussions, and installation work
collaborating with colleagues and coordinating with other trades such as track construction and overhead line construction to ensure economical, timely, and quality-driven project execution
laying cables and conduits
constructing shaft and empty pipe systems for cable installation
operating and handling civil engineering machinery and equipment

Anforderungen:

Successfully completed vocational training as a skilled worker in the construction industry (e.g. cable civil engineer, concrete builder, construction equipment operator, mechatronics technician, civil engineer, bricklayer) or several years of relevant professional experience
team player
responsible and reliable
pragmatic solutions with quality awareness
willingness to work outdoors
willingness to travel nationwide for assembly work after comprehensive training
possession of a Class B driver’s license, ideally Class BE
fluency in German, both written and spoken
