Jobbeschreibung:

As a train traffic controller, you work in the signal box. From there, you navigate train traffic and ensure safe, punctual, and smooth train operations. The retraining takes place full-time (39 hours/week) and consists of theoretical and practical training sections. After retraining, you will take on tasks such as controlling train traffic via levers, push buttons, and rotary switches, setting routes for trains, monitoring operations in stations, and coordinating with colleagues.

communicate and coordinate with colleagues in the signal box, train drivers, and control centers

Anforderungen:

successfully completed vocational training, e.g., as a retail salesman, restaurant specialist, bakery salesperson, or office clerk
basic PC skills
ability to remain calm and maintain an overview in demanding situations
teamwork and willingness to take responsibility
willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, holiday work) and flexibility
