As a Bijrijder, you play a crucial role in keeping the city waste-free and clean. You will work for Gemeente Leiden in the team Inzameling & Reiniging, handling various tasks like cleaning the city and collecting waste. Vitality and collegial collaboration are key within the department.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

assist the driver in collecting various types of waste
check and register the correct placement of waste containers and address residents on any issues
ensure a neat and safe working environment
maintain good communication with colleagues and residents

Vereisten:

physically capable of heavy work such as lifting and carrying
speaks good Dutch
collegial and not afraid to get dirty
flexible to work on irregular days and times
affinity with waste collection and the environment is a plus
possession of a valid driver's license B is an advantage
available to work frequently
looking for a vacation job or a longer-term job
