Customer service specialist wegtransport

• Handling customer requests and complaints
• Processing a variety of shipment requests for (specific) major customers
• Regularly contacting your customers to define best practices and provide proactive advice
• Providing customers with quotes in collaboration with our sales department and your manager
• Informing the customer correctly and timely about the progress of the shipment
• Monitoring the progress of the shipment and intervening where necessary
• Identifying or correcting errors and solving problems, ambiguities, incompleteness that have been escalated by employees, whether or not in consultation with your direct supervisor
• Optimizing operational and administrative processes for more efficiency within your department

• Bachelor in Supply Chain Management or equivalent in experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the logistics world
• Excellent sense of customer service, communication skills and self-confidence
• Good organizational, coordination and multi-tasking skills
• Good knowledge of Dutch and French + good written and oral communication skills in English are a must
• Knowledge of MS Office software: Outlook, Word and Excel

Combination of experience in different transport modes is a plus
