Functieomschrijving:

Perform the role of triagist by offering remote medical care and advice to patients, particularly asylum seekers, with a focus on cultural and linguistic diversity. Requires strong communication skills, medical knowledge, and adaptability.

Functieverantwoordelijkheden:

Answer urgent medical questions, particularly from asylum seekers, often outside regular office hours
communicate via telephone, chat, and video call
use medical knowledge and cultural awareness to ask and answer questions effectively, often with the help of an interpreter
assess patients' needs and refer them to the appropriate medical colleague

Vereisten:

Digitally adept and capable of working with multiple healthcare systems
good listening skills
ability to work independently and accurately
capability to communicate clearly in accessible language
Bachelor in Medicine and medical knowledge
good proficiency in Dutch and English
availability for a minimum of six months
