Job Description:

This particular role involves developing, maintaining, integrating, and optimizing systems utilizing Microsoft .NET technologies and Workday tools.

Job Responsibility:

Develop, maintain, and enhance applications and software solutions built using Microsoft .NET Framework/.NET Core
Design and implement integrations between Workday and third-party systems using Workday Connector, Studio, or API integrations
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and develop robust, scalable solutions
Customize and optimize Workday business processes and create advanced reports or dashboards, leveraging Workday tools as needed
Work closely with quality assurance teams to write and execute unit tests, resolve defects, and deliver high-quality applications
Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues, both in .NET systems and Workday environments
Ensure code follows best practices, including performance optimization, security standards, and maintainability
Stay informed on the latest Workday updates and .NET technology trends to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a .NET Developer, with expertise in C#, ASP.NET, or .NET Core
Strong experience with Workday HCM, Financials, and/or Payroll modules, including integrations and reporting
Hands-on experience developing and managing Workday integrations using Workday Studio, PICOF & PECI, or EIB
Working knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for integration purposes, both for Workday and external applications
Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework
Strong coding and debugging skills along with a good understanding of secure coding practices
Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technical solutions
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience collaborating in cross-functional teams

Nice to have:

Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Studio, Integration Developer, etc.)
Experience deploying applications to Azure or other cloud environments
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or DevOps practices for software deployment and lifecycle management
Prior experience building custom reports in Workday using Workday Reporting or Workday Prism Analytics
Knowledge of PowerShell for automation and scripting tasks
