Job Description:

The A/C Technician at Marriott Mena House Cairo is responsible for responding to guest repair requests, performing minor plumbing and maintenance tasks, and ensuring the safety and functionality of tools and equipment. The role involves maintaining daily logs, communicating with guests, and adhering to company policies and standards. The technician will also perform physical tasks and ensure a professional appearance while upholding Marriott's commitment to hospitality.

Job Responsibility:

Respond and attend to guest repair requests
Fix minor plumbing problems
Perform miscellaneous minor repairs
Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
Maintain daily logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities
Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
Follow company safety and security policies
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
Complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
No supervisory experience
No specific license or certification required
