Job Description:

We are providing a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Absence Management Specialist at our manufacturing facility located in BAYPORT, Minnesota. As an Absence Management Specialist, you will be tasked with managing employee accommodations and leaves, understanding and applying HR policies and ADA laws, and maintaining strong relationships with managers, HR, and site safety leaders.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage pre-employment accommodations
Handle accommodations for employees returning from leave
Apply and interpret HR policies and ADA laws in daily operations
Maintain strong communication and relationships with managers, HR, and site safety leaders
Address workers' compensation return to work matters
Review return to work forms, discerning when further questioning is necessary
Identify potential issues or 'red flags' in absence management cases
Manage high volumes of cases, including emails and phone calls
Utilize systems such as Outlook Calendar, Intellex, and Peoplesoft to manage and track cases
Employ strong technical skills in all aspects of work

Requirements:

Proficiency in Absence Management
Extensive knowledge of Leave of Absence procedures and guidelines
Experience with ADA Accommodations
Familiarity with various Benefit Functions
Proven skills in Claim Administration
