The Account Director role at W Sydney focuses on pro-active sales, Corporate and Group lead generation, and maximizing revenue across various segments. The role involves representing the W brand, building relationships, and executing strategies to drive business growth.
Job Responsibility:
Pro-active sales and Corporate and Group lead generation
Drive Corporate Project Rate and Entertainment conversion
Maximize revenue and increase market share across rooms, Beverage & Food, events, group FIT, spa, and other revenue sources
Represent W brand in sales activities
Develop, grow, and sustain business across Groups and Long-Stay segment
Build relationships with Marriott International's Global Sales Team network and ANZP Market Team
Foster relationships with key corporate clients, PCOs, and MICE agencies
Produce Weekly Sales Report
Arrange Insider Tours and Familiarisation programs
Represent W Sydney at functions, tradeshows, and events
Execute promotions and strategies
Work with DOSD and Group, Catering, and Event Sales Leader
Provide monthly Sales report
Ensure recovery calls/responses are handled appropriately
Requirements:
Higher Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Management and/or Hotel/Tourism Management
Minimum three years' experience in a hotel sales environment required
Proven track record across various market segments with focus on MICE
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
High attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management, interpersonal, and leadership skills
