The Account Executive, Government position focuses on the customer life cycle, supporting the growth of State and Local Government within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include growing presence in the State and Local market, owning contract renewal strategy, delivering class-leading customer experiences, and growing revenue and retention rates while maintaining T-Mobile's core values.
Job Responsibility:
Generate new business opportunities within the assigned portfolio of existing and target accounts
exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
maintain appropriate customer churn goals
negotiate agreements and lead contract negotiations
maintain a high level of in-person customer meetings to build deep client relationships
sell the total portfolio of T-Mobile solutions
engage deeply with clients to understand pain points
coordinate with Account Management, Dedicated care, and other team members
maximize revenue and customer loyalty
use Salesforce.com and other internal systems effectively
customer presentations
attend client events to promote the brand
coordinate account strategy
engage with internal stakeholders to achieve objectives
complete continuous training
disburse adjustments and credits within established limits
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
bachelor’s degree preferred
4+ years of proven experience in outside Direct sales within an assigned territory
2+ years of sales experience in the Public Sector preferred
2+ years in telecom or technology sales strongly preferred
2+ years of Account Management and strategic selling preferred
