As an Account Executive you will be responsible for growing the business’ clientele in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea & Hong Kong regions leveraging professional connections and relationships, demonstrating executive presence and value proposition for the CleverTap products. The position calls for a hands on and growth mindset in growing the business as well as for a strong farming/account management mindset in the SaaS sales environment with a track record of cross sell and upsell. We are looking for a candidate who has thorough experience with exploring, navigating and managing C-level stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Own the business targets for the respective account patch and grow business and influence
Establish and build relationships with key stakeholders within customers to understand the needs and create a compelling value proposition
Interact with customers, manage presentations and work through the sales cycle to achieve Q-o-Q sales quota
Build key account management plans and map decision makers, influencers, users within the account
Have a good understanding of competitive channels that the client is using and incorporate those inputs in the key account plan
Retain the assigned book of business
Build a pipeline for current quarter + next quarter
Negotiate agreements with the customers to close the deals
Work with partners and scale the business through them
Manage the Salesforce data on a daily basis with meeting notes, sales funnel updation, etc
Maintain post sales interface with the customers to build long term relationship and enhance the customer satisfaction
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in SaaS selling
Experience in working in Startup with a go-getting, hands-on approach
Ability to present and articulate key value propositions to CXO’s, decision makers and influencers
Conceptual understanding of APIs, Webhooks, SDKs, Cloud, and SaaS technologies
Proven experience in account management and growing the business in the existing accounts in Malaysia region
Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles
Organizational and time-management skills
Proficiency in Bahasa and/or Mandarin
Nice to have:
Good understanding of the MarTech domain
Number driven approach towards accounts, targets, regional planning and retention rates
Knowledge of CRM software (eg. Salesforce)
