Job Description:

The Account Executive, SMB Sales role at T-Mobile is designed for ambitious, results-driven sales professionals. This hunter role focuses on exceeding sales quotas, acquiring new accounts, and shaping the wireless industry for small and medium-sized businesses. Responsibilities include lead generation, analyzing needs with solution-based selling, negotiating deals, and maintaining the customer base in a geographic territory.

Job Responsibility:

  • Generate and work leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
  • Identify customer needs and use solution-based selling
  • Recommend wireless solutions including price plans, data services, handsets, and accessories
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management
  • Create effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals
  • Apply sales force automation
  • Manage sales funnel and report on sales activities and forecasts
  • Maintain and grow the customer base within a territory

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1+ years verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience
  • Outside B2B sales experience preferred
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast changing environment
  • Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Effective negotiating and closing skills
  • Ability to cold call/door knock
  • Experience in identifying, nurturing, and guiding potential leads
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on proposals and pricing quotations
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
