Job Description:

The Account Executive, SMB Team Sales role at T-Mobile involves acquiring new accounts with small and medium sized businesses through prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads while showcasing T-Mobile's products and solutions. Responsibilities include negotiating deals, tailoring customer recommendations, and developing skills to advance within the SMB sales team. The role requires superior customer service, task management, and effective communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Generate and work leads in developed and underdeveloped territories through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
  • Demonstrate T-Mobile’s value through selling
  • Recommend wireless solutions
  • Negotiate and close deals
  • Develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management
  • Participate in product training and sales meetings
  • Create effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals
  • Apply sales force automation
  • Manage sales funnel
  • Report on sales activities and forecasts.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1+ years verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably within a commissioned environment
  • Outside B2B sales experience preferred
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking
  • Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Effective negotiating and closing skills
  • Ability to cold call/door knock preferred
  • Experience in identifying, nurturing, and guiding potential leads preferred
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce preferred
  • Experience preparing, delivering, and following-up on product/service proposals preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
