Job Description:

The Account Executive, Government position at T-Mobile focuses on supporting the growth of State and Local Government within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include exceeding sales goals, maintaining strong customer relationships, promoting T-Mobile solutions, coordinating team efforts, and achieving productivity and business objectives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Generate new business opportunities within the assigned portfolio
  • exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • negotiate agreements and lead contract negotiations
  • maintain in-person customer meetings to build deep client relationships
  • sell T-Mobile solutions through engaging discussions
  • coordinate with Account Management and support teams
  • use Salesforce for effective reporting and forecasting
  • deliver customer presentations and attend events
  • engage with stakeholders to attain specific goals
  • maintain knowledge of products, services, and sales approaches
  • meet productivity and sales goals
  • maintain high professional and ethical standards
  • disburse adjustments and credits within established limits.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 4+ years of proven experience in outside direct sales within an assigned territory
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the public sector preferred
  • 2+ years in telecom or technology sales strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of account management and strategic selling preferred
  • strong presentation skills

  • good proven understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
  • strong technical abilities and ability to learn new concepts quickly
