Job Description:

The position involves promoting Baxter’s Bardy Diagnostics products and innovative CAM Patch for cardiac monitoring in physician practices, hospitals, emergency departments, and academic accounts. It also includes customer relationship management, business plan development, and meeting sales quotas in the assigned territory.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement a territory business plan and sales strategy
  • Increase revenue in assigned territory by promoting BardyDx’s Core products and services
  • Develop relationships with Electrophysiologists, Cardiologists, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Neurologists and Emergency Medicine Physicians to drive increased adoption of products & services
  • Develop and manage relationships with physicians, office staff, and practice/hospital administration
  • Spend 80% of your time in the assigned territory promoting the company’s products and services
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer needs, resolve ways to improve the overall customer experience, and generate new sales and marketing tactics that grow market share, and drive growth
  • Train staff, physicians and administration on the accurate usage and billing codes for our products & services
  • Travel within assigned territory with potential for up to 40% overnight travel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or at least 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience is required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ideally a combination of successful medical sales (ideally with a focus on Cardiology or Electrophysiology) and B2B sales experience is preferred
  • Previous Medical Device or Diagnostic Services Sales experience strongly preferred
  • Experience selling to hospitals, including Emergency Departments, is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Excellent relationship-building skills across all customer levels as well as with internal teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to formulate solutions and decisions with little guidance
  • Well organized with shown time management and prioritization skills
  • Process-oriented with the ability to multi-task and lead opportunities with both short & long sales cycles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical, communication, and social skills
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory as needed with occasional overnight travel required for regional and national training and trade shows.
