Job Description:

The Account Executive, SMB Team Sales at T-Mobile focuses on acquiring new small and medium business accounts through prospecting, cold-calling, and networking. The role involves understanding customer needs, using solution-based selling techniques, and closing deals to achieve sales quota objectives. It includes skill development opportunities, training, and leadership engagement. Responsibilities include managing the sales funnel, creating proposals, and maintaining a customer base.

Job Responsibility:

  • Generate and work leads through prospecting, cold calling, and networking
  • identify customer needs and use solution-based selling
  • recommend wireless solutions including price plans, data services, handsets, and accessories
  • negotiate and close deals
  • develop skills in prospecting, call execution, and relationship management
  • participate in product training and sales meetings
  • create effective sales approaches, solutions, and proposals
  • maintain and grow the customer base within a territory model
  • apply sales force automation, manage sales funnel, and report on sales activities and forecasts
  • other assigned duties/projects as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • 1+ years verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience in a commissioned environment (preferred)
  • outside B2B sales experience (preferred)
  • ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
  • demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service
  • excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • effective negotiating and closing skills
  • ability to cold call/door knock (preferred)
  • experience in prospect management and CRM systems like Salesforce (preferred)
  • experience preparing and delivering proposals and quotations (preferred)
  • valid Driver's License
  • at least 18 years of age
  • legally authorized to work in the United States
