Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in the education industry, specifically within a University setting, located in Williamsburg, Virginia. As an Accountant, you will be handling complex bank reconciliations, utilizing various accounting software systems, and providing month-end support. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Reconcile main and subsidiary bank accounts
Utilize Workday, Banner, and advanced Excel for accounting processes
Provide support during the month-end closing process
Use accounting software systems to handle accounting functions
Ensure accurate and efficient processing of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Utilize Concur for expense management
Employ ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for organization-wide planning and management
Conduct auditing as per regulatory standards
Manage Balance Sheet Account for financial accuracy
Work with ADP - Financial Services for payroll and benefits administration

Requirements:

Must possess proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
Should have knowledge of Cl Programming
Familiarity with Concur is essential
Must have experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Should be well-versed in various Accounting Functions
Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
Must be adept at managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
Auditing skills are required
Should have experience in handling Balance Sheet Account
