Job Description:

A leading manufacturing company is seeking an Accountant to support its finance team in ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing and accurate financial reporting. This role involves managing month-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial analysis while working with ERP systems and maintaining internal controls. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and manufacturing cost accounting.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and execute the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
perform general ledger (GL) reconciliations, including bank, intercompany, and inventory accounts
ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company accounting policies
analyze cost accounting data, inventory valuation, and work-in-progress (WIP) accounts to support manufacturing operations
utilize ERP systems to manage financial data, generate reports, and streamline processes
collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely reporting and improve financial processes.

Requirements:

3–5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS, month-end close procedures, and financial reporting
proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
experience in cost accounting, inventory reconciliation, and fixed asset accounting
excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
CPA, CMA, or progress toward certification is a plus.
