Job Description:

The Luxembourg Marriott Hotel Alfa is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records, maintaining files and records, and preparing various financial reports.

Job Responsibility:

Checking figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
Organizing, securing, and maintaining all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents
Completing period-end closing procedures and reports
Preparing, reviewing, reconciling, and issuing bills, invoices, and account statements
Following up and resolving past due accounts and vendor invoices
Preparing, maintaining, auditing, and distributing statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables
Preparing daily consolidated deposits of cash received
Preparing, maintaining, and administering all cashier banks and contracts
Performing other job duties as requested by Supervisor

Requirements:

Degree in accounting or similar field
At least 3 years of related work experience
Proficiency in English and French
Strong attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Proficiency in financial software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
