Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accountant in the real estate industry. The role is based in Jersey City, New Jersey, 07032, United States. As an Accountant, your main duties will revolve around the management of financial records and customer accounts, the resolution of customer inquiries, and the processing of customer applications.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications
Oversee customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
Maintain precise records of customer credit
Work on complex issues and find unique solutions in a fast-paced environment
Use Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite Applications proficiently
Work both independently and as part of a team
Communicate effectively to solve problems and structure procedures and workflows
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Conduct Bank Reconciliations and handle General Ledger
Prepare Journal Entries and execute Month End Close

Requirements:

Experience with GAAP reporting
Tax and IFRS reporting experience is a plus
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite Applications
Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
Familiarity with maintaining the General Ledger
Capability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries
Experience with Month End Close procedures
