Job Description:

We are in search of a skilled Accountant to join our team in the healthcare industry, located in Tucson, Arizona. As an Accountant, your role will encompass the management and oversight of all financial operations. This includes full-cycle accounting duties, compliance assurance with healthcare-specific regulations, and offering insights to aid strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the full cycle of accounting operations, including tasks such as accounts payable and receivable
Ensure accurate financial reporting and execute payroll procedures
Manage month-end close activities and maintain general ledger
Prepare budgets and handle tax filings, ensuring all financial operations adhere to healthcare-specific regulations
Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
Utilize software, such as MAS90, to optimize accounting workflows
Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations
Leverage your strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail to maintain accurate records and resolve any discrepancies
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed
Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Demonstrated experience in an accounting role
Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience with Bank Reconciliations
Familiarity with General Ledger operations
Ability to prepare and record Journal Entries
Experience in Month End Close processes
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
