Job Description:

Our client, a dynamic and growing company, is looking for a skilled Accountant to join their team. The role involves performing general accounting activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and collaborating with various departments to support accounting processes.

Job Responsibility:

Perform a variety of general accounting activities in areas such as AR & AP, Cost Accounting, Financial Reporting, Global Financial Reporting, Internal Auditing, Inventory Control, and Payroll
Engage in account reconciliations, month-end closings, assisting with internal audits, cost allocations, and supporting inventory system enhancements
Ensure all accounting work aligns with GAAP principles and provides accurate financial reports
Assist in ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC reporting requirements
Collaborate with internal departments and external parties to support accounting processes and drive company success
Proactively suggest improvements to existing processes and contribute to efficiency and accuracy
Take on special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (strongly preferred) or equivalent relevant experience
Prior accounting experience or training is strongly preferred
A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office is a must
A CPA license or the desire to obtain one is highly preferred
Proficiency in General Ledger management and maintenance
Experience with Journal Entries, including creation, review, and adjustment
Demonstrated ability to handle Month End Close procedures
Familiarity with ERP software systems
Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions for financial analysis
Experience in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
