Job Description:

The Accounting Analyst will focus on the consolidation, analysis, and application of accounting techniques to financial transactions, ensuring the smooth operation of financial systems.

Job Responsibility:

Analyzing and keeping track of utility usage
Assisting the accounting team during the month-end close process
Maintenance of the fixed asset system
Performing clerical and routine accounting tasks
Responding to inquiries and liaising with other departments or vendors
Tracking and accounting for capital expenditures
Analyzing and monitoring leases and rentals
Reviewing plant purchase order requests
Ensuring the accuracy and policy compliance of expense reimbursement requests
Conducting ad-hoc reporting/analysis and special projects

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in an accounting analyst role or similar position
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiarity with budget processes and fixed assets
Ability to perform ad hoc analysis
Experience with expense reimbursements
Knowledge of the purchase order process
Experience with month-end close procedures
Proficiency in Oracle or similar financial software
