Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Floresville, Texas. This role is within the manufacturing industry and the successful candidate will have a focus on billing and accounts receivable.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently and accurately manage billing and accounts receivable processes
Handle extensive phone interactions with customers and suppliers, resolving inquiries and issues promptly
Maintain meticulous financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented
Use advanced Excel skills, including vlookups and charts, to analyze financial data and produce reports
Work collaboratively with the accounting team, supporting various tasks and projects as needed
Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
Thorough understanding and execution of Accounting Functions
Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Proficiency in using Epicor ERP system
Experience with Quickbooks Online is a must
Ability to use Excel Formulas effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience in Billing procedures and practices
